Troup High and Middle School Vision 20/20 Project
Vision 20/20 Project

Project Overview

The Troup ISD 1:1 project now encompases students in grades 7-12. This project was made possible through grants awarded by the Texas Education Agency to Troup High School & Troup Middle School along with partner schools, New Summerfield High School and West Rusk High School. The Vision 20/20 grants and a third grant will provide students, as well as their teachers with laptops purchased from Apple, Inc.

During the next several years, we will be monitoring student progress and comparing participant data to non-participant data. This will help the district and the state to determine the success of our 1:1 initiative. Your role and the role of your participating student is important to the success of this endeavor.

Please note: Students must be in good standing with the laptop program before they receive a laptop during this school year. Students must participate in training and parent and student signatures are required on the appropriate forms before the student can receive a laptop.
